Type I Diabetes

Man Doing Blood Test

Type I diabetes is an autoimmune condition in which the body's immune system attacks and destroys insulin-producing cells in the pancreas. It typically develops in childhood or adolescence, though it can occur at any age. People with Type I Diabetes require lifelong insulin therapy to regulate blood sugar levels and prevent complications. We currently have a study for a medication dosed once weekly.

Participate in a clinical trial! We are looking for volunteers ages 18 and older.

Patients that qualify will receive at no cost:

  • Study medication

  • Study-related care from a local doctor

  • Compensation for time and travel

To learn more about this trial you can call 505-224-2735 or fill out the Participant Sign Up Form.
