Lela Elliott

Lela is a Clinical Research Technician at Albuquerque Clinical Trials with a background in psychology and community-based research. She earned her B.A. in Honors Psychology from the University of New Mexico and is passionate about reducing gaps in healthcare access for marginalized communities. Her interests include improving behavioral health outcomes through culturally responsive research and community-informed approaches. She will begin her Master of Public Health program this fall, focusing on community health and culturally responsive research methodologies. In her free time, Lela enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, rock climbing, and baking.
