Chronic Cough with Stress Urinary Incontinence
We are currently not enrolling for this study. If you are interested in future Chronic Cough studies please go to our Patient Sign Up Form and we will contact you for future studies! Thank you for your interest.
Chronic Cough is a cough that lasts 8 weeks or more. Having a chronic cough can cause many problems including dizziness, headache, and bladder problems such as stress urinary incontinence.
Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI) is the involuntary loss of urine that occurs because of an increased pressure (coughing, sneezing, laughing, or physical exertion) on the abdomen.
We are currently looking for volunteers for our Chronic Cough study. This study consists of 6 in-clinic visits and 2 phone calls over a 5 month period. If you have had a cough for over a year and symptoms of SUI for over 3 months, you may qualify.
Patients that qualify will receive at no cost:
-
Study medication
-
Study-related care from a local doctor
-
Compensation for time and travel
