Postherpetic Neuralgia

Postherpetic Neuralgia is a painful condition that affects the nerve fibers and skin. It is a
complication of shingles. The sensation may be of intense burning or stabbing, and it may feel as if it is shooting along the course of the affected nerve.

We are currently looking for volunteers for our Postherpetic Neuralgia study. This study consists of 7 visits over 11 weeks. If you have nerve pain after contracting shingles, you may qualify.

Patients that qualify will receive at no cost:

  • Study medication

  • Study-related care from a local doctor

  • Compensation for time and travel

To learn more about this trial you can call 505-224-2735 or fill out the Participant Sign Up Form.
